Why did you join the SOLIDBAT project?
Our team is happy to take part into SOLIDBAT. As, as end user, we want to make sure that new polymer-based Li metal solid batteries under development can meet cost and performance targets required from end users but can also be produced on a large scale so that the new batteries can be integrated into new generation of electric vehicles.

What is your main contribution within SOLIDBAT?
TME is leading WP2 activities focusing notably on identifying needs from end-users’ point of view, setting test protocols for cycling and abuse tests. TME will also take part to cell testing planned in WP5.

How can SOLIDBAT’s batteries help to position Europe in the race for electric vehicles?
If SOLIDBAT Project is able to achieve its targets, it may pave the way for the electrification and its spread through all Europe.
