SOLIDBAT Partner Insights - Eurida

04 June 2026

As an SME specialised in research and innovation management, public engagement, and exploitation of research results, EURIDA supports the SOLIDBAT project in maximising its long-term impact. In this interview, EURIDA explains how communication, dissemination, stakeholder engagement, data management, and exploitation planning help connect SOLIDBAT’s scientific and technological results with the audiences, applications, and market opportunities that can drive Europe’s battery ecosystem forward.

  • Why did EURIDA join SOLIDBAT?

EURIDA joined SOLIDBAT to help maximise the impact of the project results. Our role is to support the project in making sure that the knowledge and innovations developed are shared with the right audiences, including scientists, industry, policy makers, end-users and the wider public.

  • What is EURIDA’s main contribution within SOLIDBAT?

EURIDA contributes mainly to the impact maximisation activities of the project. This includes dissemination, communication, stakeholder engagement and exploitation planning. We also coordinate the Data Management Plan and lead the feasibility study, which will help assess the feasibility and commercial potential of the most promising project results.

  • Why are communication, dissemination and exploitation important in a highly technical project such as SOLIDBAT?

In a technical project, good results are not enough if they do not reach the people who can understand, use or build on them. Communication and dissemination help make the project results accessible to different audiences, while exploitation activities help connect these results with future applications and market opportunities.

  • What are the main challenges when communicating and exploiting results from an innovation project like SOLIDBAT?

One of the main challenges is to develop a strategy that works for very different audiences, while adapting it as the project evolves. On the exploitation side, the challenge is to identify realistic routes to market from an early stage, based on technical progress, stakeholder feedback and future application needs.

  • How can SOLIDBAT’s communication and exploitation activities contribute to Europe’s battery ecosystem?

SOLIDBAT’s communication activities can help raise awareness and build trust around solid-state battery technologies. At the same time, exploitation activities help define how the most promising results could move closer to the market, by identifying relevant applications, partners and connections across Europe’s battery value chain.
